Straight Line Precision With KDT KS132/138C Industrial Panel Saw

The sliding table deliver straight line precision to 0.25mm per 1000mm of travel and run smoothly even under heavy loads.

KDT’s proven carriage design built around thick, multi-chamber Aluminium Extrusions, large dumbbell rollers and hard chromed guide rails.

It’s 430mm wide and anodised for long life scratch free service.

Easy Panel Loading Too

The smooth Panel lock reliably and easily locks the sliding table along multiple points when you are loading your panels – and unlocks with a flick of your thumb.

A Better Saw Carriage

Your saw carriage must be both heavy and precise.
The complete assembly is mounted directly to the machine frame not suspended from the table and saw shaft electronically balanced.

Large diameter tongue and groove’ tilt guides ensure accuracy. The saw unit rises electrically on large widely spaced Parallel THK guides not a pivot action This is your guarantee of precision.

The slide ways are lubricated via a convenient external pump.

Solid Frame – Fully Enclosed

The steel frame is heavily braced to provide a rock solid platform. The side access door is full sized and lever release of belt tension and easy access to the flat poly drive belts make belt changes simple. A door safety switch is fitted and the frame base is raised to allow easy cleaning.

Easy Blade Access And Setting

Precise height setting and locking of the Scorer blade is simple thanks to the large direct in line adjustment with fine thread pitch. There’s unobstructed access to the Scorer and main blades for blade changes and scorer sideways setting.

Big Solid Panel Support Area

The 1000 x 650mm cast main table and 430mm wide slide table are complemented with strongly ribbed ‘full size’ rip and outfeed tables to easily support your largest panels.

The outrigger table repositions at the flick of a lever and locks solidly onto the precision ground round guide rail.

Crosscut Precision

The crosscut table support frame is 400mm high with 30mm thick pivots and a large axle the length of the frame. A triangular frame across the width of the crosscut table fully supports it and is mopunted on the 120mm aluminium sliding rail. A chrome loading roller eliminates scratching. The crosscut fence is 90 x80mm and robustly mounted to ensure precise 90 degree cuts.Settings are easy to read from the recessed steel scales. This is a rock solid and precise system you will appreciate every time you use the saw.

Precisely Set Your Stops And They Stay Put!

The 3 precision flip over crosscut stops are free of play,easily set with real precision and stay put. The magnification of the 25mm steel rule is easy to read as it’s slanted towards you.

Mitres Are Simple And Accurate

Twin ‘full sized ‘mitre scales allow you mitre using the crosscut fence very accurately and easily. A large aluminium rail provide support for large panels. There’s a supplementary mitre fence for smaller work over 45 degrees.

Your Rip Cuts Are Accurate Too

The cast iron rip fence support slides smoothly along the 50mm diameter hard chrome rail and locks firmly and precisely.

The steel rule is recessed so it won’t get damaged.

If you need to divide large panels you can swing the rip fence under the level of the machine table.

Extraction Is Important

The overhead guard is very easy to position and stays in place thanks to the strong pivot design. Front and rear rollers mean no panels are scratched. A narrow guard is supplied along with a wide guard for tilt work. These are changed over in moments. You have a clear view of what’s happening and can swing the guard clear when trimming a tall cabinet.

You Are In Control

Saw blade height setting is powered.The Control panel is recessed to avoid damage with all functions clearly identified, back-lit and simple to use. The tilt scale is large and clear.
